Based on the book series by Joanne Fluke, Hallmark has brought to life the Hannah Swensen Mysteries since 2015, with Allison Sweeney playing the lead character expertly. The series begins with Hannah, a baker, trying her hand at crime solving when a mysterious murder rocks her world. As the series progresses, so do her sleuthing skills, making for a film series we return to time after time. With the next installment, A Sprinkle of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, premiering on October 4 at 9/8c on Hallmark Mystery, let’s take a look back at this iconic series and the movies you may have missed.

Hannah Swensen is the owner of a local bakery known as The Cookie Jar, but a mysterious murder has her pursuing a new career path as an amateur detective—and her skills as a baker come in handy in ways you wouldn’t expect!

The second installment of this series puts us smack dab in the midst of the holiday season, when a body discovered at the local Christmas tree lot puts Hannah in the middle of a less-than-jolly investigation.

One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery (2024)

When Hannah begins teaching classes at the local college, her equipment causes a fire after being tampered with, though it’s ruled an accident. That particular incident paired with the murder of a colleague throws Hannah right back into the thick of crime solving alongside a local prosecutor named Chad, played by Victor Webster.

When catering a high school reunion, one of the guests is found dead, launching Hannah and Chad into a full-fledged investigation together.
