Weeknights can be a dinner scramble, but this slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches recipe is here to save the day! Just toss in a boneless pork butt, barbecue sauce and spices, and let your slow cooker work its magic. A relatively tough and fatty cut, pork butt benefits from low and slow cooking. A few hours later, you’ll have tender, juicy pulled pork that practically falls apart at the touch. Pile it high on toasted whole wheat buns and add your favorite toppings for a complete and satisfying meal. Let us know how they turned out below!
For an extra depth of flavor in this pulled pork sandwiches recipe, sear the pork roast in a pan over medium heat for a few minutes before adding it to the slow cooker. This creates a beautiful caramelized crust. For more pork recipes, try Barbecue Pork Ribs and Sous Vide Pork Chops.
