Grab These Sephora Dupes From Trader Joe’s for a Fraction of the Price: Clinique, Summer Fridays and More!
See which Trader Joe’s beauty buys are just as good—but cost much less!
We all love browsing the aisles at Sephora, but if you’ve been in the beauty megastore recently, you know some of their prices are on the high end. Buying three products can easily surpass the $100 mark—and that’s just for part of your makeup routine!
To the rescue: Trader Joe’s beauty section! You may have never considered shopping at the grocery store for your makeup products, but you can find so many Sephora dupes at unbeatable prices. Lifestyle expert Lora McLaughlin Peterson (who shares genius hacks on instagram @lorafied) located the best beauty dupes in Trader Joe’s that you need to snag ASAP! Check out what you can grab on your next grocery run and find out how much you can save!
Clinique Moisture Surge dupe

If you’re a fan of the popular Clinique line, you might recognize their Moisture Surge moisturizer, which you can occasionally sample in their Bonus Bag. But if you want to get a refill from Clinique or Sephora, you’ll end up spending more than $30, depending on the size you get. While the mini is $17, it’s definitely mini, at 0.5 ounces, so you have to replace it frequently. And the value size of 4.2 ounces is $88!
At Trader Joe’s, you can grab their Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer with Aloe and Green Tea Extract. This product is similar to Clinique’s version in many ways—but not the price. While the 2.5-ounce Clinique container is $64 at Sephora, the Trader Joe’s 2.5-ounce moisturizer is only $8.99!
One Redditor shared a review, writing, “I like this because it’s so lightweight and refreshing. It layers nicely on top of serums and below sunscreen and make up. My make up goes on a lot smoother when I use it underneath.”
Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment dupe
Kiehl’s undereye treatment is a Sephora fan favorite, but many of us aren’t willing to pay the $40 price for a 0.5-ounce container. That’s why you need to check out Trader Joe’s Supreme Hydrating Eye Cream, which is only $5.99 for the same size.
According to the Trader Joe’s description, the product “absorbs quickly, leaving the delicate skin around the eyes feeling soft & soothed.”
Summer Fridays lip dupe

Summer Fridays lip products have become all the rage in the past few years, but at $24 per tube, you might be holding out on snatching up the latest offerings. However, Trader Joe’s has the perfect alternative for a fraction of the price.
The grocery store’s Lip Butter Balm Duo comes in a two-pack featuring Brown Sugar and Vanilla Mint lip balms. They look just like the the Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balms—but they only cost $7 for 2—a major savings compared to the Sephora counterpart. Plus, the scents are similar to Summer Fridays’ Sweet Mint and Vanilla balms.
One Redditor wrote, “The glossy look they give is beautiful and they still feel hydrating and smooth. For $3.50 a piece, totally worth it.”
If you’ve been wanting to try out Summer Fridays lip balms but are wary of the price, check out this one from Trader Joe’s first!
